Destination wedding makeup
Destination makeup is the best investment you can make for your wedding abroad
I aim to make sure that your dream bridal look lasts all day, ensuring that regardless of hot or humid weather you look incredible all day long. I travel across Europe for weddings and I have had experience working in Greece, in places like Mykonos and Athens as well as Italy and France. At the moment I will be in France and Cyprus in 2025 and already have 5 exciting destinations lined up in my waitlist for 2026!
My mission
I believe bridal makeup is extremely personal, that's why choosing the right artist for your big day can be a challenge especially when booking a destination wedding.
Every bride has a style of makeup they like on themselves, so I always try to understand this and use it to create a bespoke look which not only flatters their features but also aligns with their style. This can be a particular challenge when booking abroad, as different countries have very different ways of applying makeup.
I am extremely versatile as a makeup artist which means I am able to cater for all of your bridal parties preferences too, no matter how fussy they are. I have mastered my trade and can easily complete large bridal parties by myself for destination weddings where required due to the later ceremony times.
I have been able to condense my kit to make it travel safe and mastered the best way to travel with my kit so you can rest easy that I will come prepared for your big day.
I aim to make you feel like the best possible version of yourself so that you can relax on your big day knowing you feel and look spectacular, for my destination brides I appreciate that flying me out for your big day does come at an expense so I offer an all day touch ups package to all of my destination brides to ensure that no matter the weather they feel and look immaculate all day long.
Your bridal preview
Your preview is your chance to find out what makeup look suits you, giving you the most jaw dropping makeup for your big day.
You may already have an idea for what you want but I can use my expertise to recommend things that I feel will enhance your natural beauty.
I recommend the trial being done 6-12 months before your big day. At the trial I will take photos and make notes of every product used so that I am able to seamlessly recreate it on your big day. This will give you the chance to see if the products I use work well with your skin and we can alter anything we need to before the big day.
For trials I allow an hour and a half to an hour and 45 minutes to really have time to perfect your desired look and I perform them in my studio in Water end, Hemel Hempstead. For destination weddings this can be done the day before your wedding if you are not based in the UK or able to travel to my studio.
You can also book trials for other members of your bridal party at your request. For Destination weddings a questionnaire for your bridal party will be sent before the date so that I can condense my kit and make sure I have all that I need for your bridal booking.
You can book your preview before securing your date if you are hesitant to book before this, however I recommend securing your date before the preview as I am unable to hold the date without the retainer fee so should you require a trial before securing be sure to do this as soon as you can.
Destination expenses required
I am happy to gather a quote for the expenses side of the booking for you and I can organise my travel and accommodation (with your approval prior to booking, of course). You have enough on your plate already.
I do require the following to be covered:
-
Travel expenses to the airport & back in the UK (If I can book London Luton this is my closest airport and I can try and arrange a lift to avoid any additional fees here.)
-
Return flights, including checked-in luggage and carry on luggage (for both the liquids and powders in my kit.)
-
Accommodation whilst at the destination of the wedding. Hotel at a minimum 3-star standard. (2-4 nights depending on the makeup package booked)*
-
Travel expenses whilst at the destination. (car hire or taxis / transport)
-
Subsistence for every 24 hours spent away from home. (this is included within my quote so not added on after!)
*Please note I have family in both Florence & Milan so Destination Accommodation fees may be waived for these locations or nearby!
Investment
I recommend booking your makeup before or when you book your venue.
I have more enquiries than I have the capacity to book and I only take 1 wedding per day so my diary fills up well in advance. Destination weddings require me to be available for the surrounding days around your date to allow for travel, so the earlier the better!
Some of my brides even book me before the venue and make sure I have the availability first. Don't compromise on feeling spectacular on your big day.
For destination weddings the travel fees are not included in my quotes and are an additional expense highlighted in my information booklet on quotation, I have also highlighted them above. My travel agent I work with regularly can get you a quote for this side of the booking on request, we will strive to keep these costs down as much as possible!
My minimum package for destination bridal is £1150 and includes the bride and up to 5 others, this is because I will be turning 3 days of work away for your destination wedding. If you require more people this will be added to your quote at an additional fee per person.
